Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride (PCBN) is specifically designed for cast iron and ferrous material machining.
PCBN tools maintain excellent hardness and thermal stability at high cutting temperatures, making them ideal for gray cast iron, ductile iron, and compacted graphite iron (CGI).

PCBN is widely used in automotive and industrial applications, such as engine blocks, brake discs, and cylinder liners, where high-speed, dry or semi-dry machining and dimensional stability are required.
